Meet our board members

Ron Lowe, President and Director

Ron Lowe teaches history at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In addition to his work with students, he has conducted research and writing projects for several businesses, foundations and nonprofit organizations. He has published book reviews for Tabletalk magazine, GenerousGiving.org, and CommonGroundsOnline. Ron earned a Masters degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida, as well as completing graduate courses in political philosophy and historical theology at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at Oxford University.

George Clark III, Vice-President

George is Senior Vice-President and Business Banker for Regions Bank. He serves as Chairman of Friends of Scouts, on the Advisory Board of United Way, and is ex-Chairman of Salvation Army.

 

Jasper A. Reynolds III, Secretary

Jasper is a freelance editorial consultant, writer and researcher, helping several nonprofit organizations in Chattanooga with publicity and Web content writing. He is a former newspaper reporter, editor and publicist.

 

J. Robert Nickel, Treasurer

Bob is Chief Financial Officer for the National Center for Youth Issues, a locally based, national nonprofit organization specializing in providing materials and training to public schools across the country, in the area of Character Education and life skills training. He is in charge of Operations, Data and Accounting systems for this important ministry. Bob currently serves on the Board of Fairyland Elementary School PTO.
